Dublin

Ah Spring Break! One of my favorite perks of being a teacher - two weeks off at the end of March. For Spring Break this year, I traveled somewhere new - Ireland and England. I found a great deal using credit card points and between staying with some friends and AirBnB was able to make this trip more affordable than I was expecting.
Ah le vacanze di primavera. Una delle cose piu' belle di essere maestra - due settimane di ferie a marzo. Per le mie vacanze sono andata in un posto nuovo - Irlanda e Inghilterra. Ho trovato un volo a poco usando i punti della carta di credito e poi con AirBnb e amici sono riuscita a fare un bel viaggio.

I flew Aer Lingus and had a direct flight LAX - DUB

My first stop was Dublin. I arrived Tuesday afternoon and just wandered around for a little bit because the jetlag was real. It was overcast and rained on and off, but wasn't too bad.
La mia prima tappa era Dublino. Sono arrivata martedi' pomeriggio e sono andata a girare un po' perche' volevo caminare. Il tempo non era male - c'era coperto pero' si stava abbastanza bene.

I had to stop at the famous Temple Bar for a pint.
Mi sono fermata nel famoso Temple Bar per una birra.

Dublin has some colorful doors and were truly stunning.
Dublino ha tante porte colorate che sono una piu' bella de l'altra.
