Lago di Como

This weekend, my dad and I went to Lake Como. The weather was amazing- sunny and warm both Saturday and Sunday! The only thing was that it was a little foggy so the pictures I took didn't turn out too great, but we were still able to take some good pictures. Our hotel had a balcony that overlooked Bellagio which is this town at the tip of the fork in the lake. The view was amazing! We bought a bus pass so we were able to travel to all the different little towns via boat. We visited Bellagio, Varenna, Cadenabbia (this was where our hotel was), and Lenno. In Lenno, we visited the Villa Balbianello which has these beautiful gardens that overlook the lake. There, we sat on a bench in the sun for a while because it was so warm and the view was so pretty! On our way home on Sunday, we drove through Laglio, Colonno, and Cernobbio making our way to the city of Como. In Como, we found the Funicolare/Cremaliera which is this train-like car that takes you from Como to Brunate which is at the top of a mountain. From the top, we were able to see the entire lake. Thankfully, it wasn't as foggy on Sunday so we could see a lot more than we would have had we gone to the top on Sunday.

Questo fine settimane, io e mio papa' siamo andati al Lago di Como. C'era bel tempo pero' c'era un po' di foschia. Per questo, le foto che ho fatto, non sono venute molto belle, nonostante questo, alcune sono venute belle. Il nostro albergo era a Cadenabbia e avevamo la camera con vista sul Bellagio. Siamo andati in barca a vedere Bellagio, Varenna, e Lenno. A Lenno siamo andati a visitare i giardini della Villa Balbianello. I giardini sono molto belli e hanno la vista sul lago. Domenica, siamo passati da Laglio, Colonno, e Cernobbio mentre andavamo a Como. A Como, siamo andati su la Funicolare/Cremaliera che ci ha portato da Como fino a Brunate che e' in alto a una montagna. La vista da li su era stupenda e sono molto contenta di esserci stata.
