March 29 - April 4, 2010

Well this was a really fun and busy week! To start our week, our microwave broke/died so we had to go buy a new one. We picked a Cuisinart from Macy's that was on sale and so far we love it! It is very sleek and quiet and perfect for what we need!

It rained a lot of the week so I made minestrone on Monday. I may have made a little more than we needed (I could have realistically fed about 15 people a good amount) but needless to say, it is perfect for stormy weather!

After that, I started getting everything ready for Easter. Jeff's parents joined us for an Easter brunch. I made Easter cookies, a Classic Fruit Tart, and French Toast. Most of the recipes I used came from the Williams-Sonoma Cookbook and they all turned out amazing! It was my first time using certain recipes and making most of those items, but everything turned out so tasty and I am very happy that I have leftovers!

Now it is just back to work and more cooking! I am going to Dallas this weekend for my friends' wedding and am very excited to see her again and to go to Dallas! Have a wonderful week!

Questa era una settimana divertente ma anche' impegnativa! Per cominciare, il nostro micronde si e' rotto allora abbiamo dovuto comprarne uno nuovo. Sono molto contenta della nostra scelta perche' e' molto bello e funziona benissimo! E' stata una settimana Dopo che abbiamo preso il micronde nuovo, ho cominciato a preparare la colazione per pasqua. Era una settimana molto bagnata perche' pioveva molto. Io ho fatto il minestrone e l'abbiamo goduto molto! Per pasqua, ho fatto molto da mangiare! Ho fatto dei biscotti, una torta di frutta, e il French Toast. Tutto era molto buono e dopo eravamo tutti pieni! Adesso lavoro e poi questo fine settimana, vado a Dallas, Texas per il matrimonio di una mia amica che avevo conosciuta in tanto che studiavo in Italia! Buona settimana!!
