June 7 - 13, 2010

This week was a lot of fun (though there aren't many pictures to show that). Jeff and I have both been really busy with work that when we are home, all we want to do is be lazy and watch movies. We met up for lunch a few days, I went to yoga, and we went sailing this weekend. The weather here in sf has been amazing and truly summer weather and i have been loving every minute of it! It is weird being in San Francisco during the summer because (1) there isn't a pool I can jump into anytime (Northcrest shoutout!) and (2) many of the small boutiques (and apartments, including our own) do not have air conditioning. I was definitely spoiled in Utah with A/C blasting everywhere and all the time during the summer, here not so much. I have learned to cope by doing my errands separately/one at a time so that I have enough time in between to cool off and re-hydrate. For Jeff, the Pacific Cup is quickly approaching (July 7th start!) so he was busy sailing all weekend (I went on sunday) with the crew. I have to say, they look pretty good and I am excited to see how well they will do! Well, that's all for this week! Questa settimana mi sono divertita molto (anche se' non ci sono molte foto!). Io e Jeff siamo cosi' impegnati con il lavoro che quando siamo a casa, l'unica cosa che vogliamo fare e' sederci di fronte alla televisione e fare niente! Ci siamo incontrati un paio di volte per pranzo questa settimana ed era bello essere fuori, anche se c'era molto caldo. Il tempo qua a San Francisco fa molto caldo adesso. Sembra proprio di essere l'estate! L'unica cose diversa qua che non a Salt Lake e' che qua non ci sono molti posti che hanno l'aria condizionata e non ho una piscina in cui fare il bagno! Pero', mi godo la citta' (e il caldo) lo stesso! Jeff si sta preparando molto per la gara (comincia il 7 di luglio) e ha dovuto andare in barca tutto il weekend. Io ci sono andata domenica e mi sono divertita, anche se mi viene ancora molta paura quando la barca non e' dritta. Non vedo l'ora di essere in vacanza alle Hawaii (5 settimane!) e spero che questa settimana, mi ricordo di fare un po' piu' foto! Buona settimana! FORZA ITALIA!!
