Updates Galore!

Monday, February 7, 2011
All righty, some more updates because I have been such a horrible blogger lately! Things here in the Bay are going pretty well. It's been super warm in the city (60's and 70's) so Jeff and I have been enjoying the fresh air (and gorgeous sunsets!)!

Ok so not an amazing weather picture, but still. SUPER foggy one morning on my way to work.

Here's a BEAUTIFUL sunset from a few nights ago.

Some exciting news for Jeff - he was accepted into the Keck School of Medicine at USC! We are super excited and hope to be hearing back from some other schools soon and then we'll have some decisions ahead!

I started my new job today and it went really well! I think I will really enjoy learning about the reservations side of the hotel and can't wait to learn more!

My awesome FD colleagues got me a cake on my last day at the FD! So sweet of them (pun intended)!

Me showing off the V-day goodies my momma sent me in my fancy work clothes!

Another fun thing that we did recently was go to a cupcake place on Union Street called American Cupcakes with my friend Hannah for drinks and cupcakes one night. My drink was called a "drunken ballerina" and it was champagne with sprinkles on the bottom and then a toy ballerina. I definitely took the ballerina home and she has appeared in my new favorite drink: the french martini. French martini's are amazing. They are vodka (preferably citron/lemon), sweet and sour, and chambord. To sum it all up, delicious. Needless to say, I have all of the ingredients at home and after a long day, it's perfect!

Hope everyone is doing well and now that I'm off on weekends (actual weekends mind you), I hope I'll have more time to blog!
