Weekends in January

Weekends this month have included many festivities. One weekend, my friend John was in town and so I headed up to Solana Beach for dinner and to watch a most beautiful sunset.
I weekend di questo mese sono stati pieni di attivita'. Un weekend, il mio amico John c'era allora sono andata su a Solana Beach per cena e per vedere il tramonto.

It was Noel's (the rommie) birthday and with her work, she gets to take a day off. Naturally, I was forced to take a day off as well. We started our day by lunching in Coronado. This was on a Tuesday and it was over 80 degrees. Such beautiful weather in San Diego!
Era il compleanno della Noel e con il suo lavoro, le danno un giorno di ferie. Naturalmente, ho dovuto prendere un giorno anche io cosi' potevo andare fuori. Abbiamo cominciato la giornata a mangiare al Coronado. Era un martedi' (non c'era nessuno) e c'era molto caldo! Che bel tempo che c'e' a San Diego!

We then headed to the Las Americas Outlets which are quite close to the border with Mexico. And by quite close, I mean, the fence is behind the outlets. I walked out of the outlets with some great deals!
Dopo mangiato, siamo andate alle outlets che sono vicino a Messico. C'e' il cancello proprio li! Io ho preso tante cose a buon mercato!

It's also possible we took a roundabout way to the outlets;

but it did allow us to see farmland

Then, this past weekend, I headed up north to hang out/cook with my friend Jennifer. We made pasta on Saturday night and then went and had brunch at Proud Mary's in Dana Point on Sunday, where I had never been. The view was amazing! 

Questo fine settimana, sono andata al nord per passare il weekend con la mia amica Jennifer. Abbiamo fatto la pasta sabato sera e poi siamo andati a fare brunch domenica in un posto nuovo (per me). C'era una vista spettacolare!

I've had some pretty fun weekends thus far in 2013! Now, I've been subbing a lot and have a few other things in the works! I'm happy I've been keeping busy! 

Ho gia' avuto dei weekend molto divertenti. Adesso sto facendo la supplenza e ho un paio di altre cose in programma. Sono contenta che mi tengo occupata!
