Fleet Science Center

I took the day off from subbing today because I had a meeting with the San Diego diocese. Basically, I had to turn in my application and then I met with the superintendent of schools. Since every time I tried to schedule a meeting something came up, I just took the day off. After my forty minute meeting, I headed towards Balboa Park.
Oggi ho preso un giorno di ferie perché avevo un colloquio alla diocesi di San Diego. Dovevo andare a consegnare il mio curriculum e ho parlato un po' con la preside delle scuole cattoliche. Ogni volta che facevo l'appuntamento mi toccava sempre a cambiarla perché dovevo andare a fare la supplenza. Allora oggi ho preso un giorno. Dopo il mio colloquio di ben quaranta minuti, sono andata a Balboa Park.

One of my resolutions is to go to the museums in the park (see left panel) so today I thought I would go to the Fleet Science Center. It was pretty neat and they have a ton of hands on stuff which was awesome! I also saw the IMAX movie, "Flight of the Butterfly." It was a fun way to spend a few hours and I want to go back to see the Arctic IMAX.
Una delle cose che voglio fare quest'anno e di andare a tutti i musei di Balboa Park. Visto che avevo tempo oggi, sono andata al Fleat Science Center. Era molto bello perché aveva tantissime cose che si potevano toccare e cambiare. Mi sono divertita molto! Ho anche visto un filmetto nel imax sulle farfalle. Ci voglio tornare per vedere quello dei orsi polari.

Pretty trees in the park

After my adventure at the Fleet Science Center, I headed to the zoo. Having a pass, it's fun to go just here and there whenever I have time. The nice lady at the bus tour thing let me on the bus, so I toured the zoo on the bus. We saw some great animals and it was the perfect adventure!
Dopo che sono andata al musei, sono andata allo zoo. Visto che ho un abbonamento, e' bello andarci anche per un oretta. La donnetta che faceva il giro dello zoo nel autobus mi ha lasciato venire su senza biglietto allora sono andata in giro con l'autobus! Era un giro perfetto!
