The Gamble House

Last weekend, Noel and I headed up to Pasadena to do a tour of the Gamble House. This is a historic house that was designed by Greene and Greene architects. The tour took us inside the house and our docent was amazing. She explained the entire story of the Gamble house and what life was like living there. The house itself is stunning and inside was no different. My favorite part was hearing how they had an Aunt Julia that lived with them who was short and a kindergarten teacher.
Il weekend scorso sono andata a Pasadena con la Noel a visitare una casa storica. La casa e' stata disegnata da architetti famosi. Il giro ci ha fatto vedere dentro la casa e ci hanno spiegato com'era la vita allora nella casa. Era un giro molto bello. Mi e' piaciuto sapere che avevano una Zia Julia che abitava con loro che era piccola e una maestra.

After our tour, along with Noel's mom and her friend who joined us, we went to a soda fountain to cool off.
