Ahh March. Right before we went to Hawaii, I was slicing green onions for a work party. I also decided to cut part of the tip of my thumb. 🙈 I ended up needing three stitches (first stitches ever!). Luckily, it didn't ruin our trip. WARNING - last picture in this post shows the three stitches!
Appena prima di andare a Maui, stavo tagliando le cipolline per un pranzo a scuola. Ho anche tagliato il dito. Sono andata al pronto soccorso dove mi hanno dato tre punti (I primi!). Per fortuna, non ha rovinato la nostra vacanza. ATTENZIONE - l'ultima foto fa vedere I tre punti!
Post ER thumb. Had this for about 3 days.
Dopo pronto soccorso. Tenuto per circa tre giorni.
Flew with my thumb wrapped up. Stitches were removed in Hawaii.
Ho fatto il viaggio con il dito tutto coperto. Mi hanno tolto I punti a le Hawaii.
Now (end of April), my thumb is almost fully healed. I have new skin that is on the tip of my thumb and am slowly getting sensation back. Skin is pretty remarkable.
Adesso (fine aprile), il mio dito e' quasi tutto guarito. Ho pelle nuova e la posso anche quasi sentire. La pelle e' molto interessante quando ricresce.
