Gardening Day!
My father, a few weeks ago while I was in California, decided to place leaves in the area right below our mailbox. It looked absolutely hideous. Today, as I had the day off and wanted a project, I decided to "remodel" the area. I knew what I wanted to do, and set about raking up all of the leaves and the weeds. Once I raked all of those up, I realized I needed to go to Lowe's to buy materials. At Lowe's, I bought garden sheeting, weed killer, mulch, rocks, dirt, and flowers. I went home and in an hour, I had sprayed the weeds with Round Up, poured new soil on, covered the area with garden sheet (prevents weeds from growing through), cut holes in the sheet to plant flowers, lined rocks along the edges, and poured mulch in. I think it looks great!
Un paio di settimane fa, mio papa he deciso di mettere le foglie vicino alla cassete della posta. Non stava bene neinte. Oggi, visto che avevo la giornata di ferie, sono andata al'lavoro e l'ho messo aposto. Io penso che stia molto bene! (Tutte le foglie sono andate nel bidone del rudo!)
