This was a very busy, fun, and productive week! The week started with me heading to Tiburon to take my last test through the American Hotel and Lodging Association. This was my last test that I needed to take in order for me to complete a series of tests that then certify me for a larger certification - hopefully I passed! Then Jeff was promoted at work and has now renewed his contract for another year. To celebrate, we went and had dinner at the Burger Bar at Macy's in Union Square. It was so tasty! Our burgers were amazing!

The next thing we did this week was to change the cabinet knobs in the kitchen. The kitchen has black counter tops with white cabinets and the original cabinet knobs were white with flowers. I was never a fan so this week, I went to Anthropologie to buy some fun, new, and colorful cabinet knobs. I think it turned out great!

On Friday, I went to a cooking class at Williams Sonoma with the Bromberg Brothers. They have a cookbook that was recently published and made two delicious recipes from it - Paella Basquez and Spicy Deviled Eggs. It was so wonderful and a fun way for me to spend a few hours!

At work, I got to pick a prize from the treasure chest that we have because a guest wrote a positive comment about me. The prize I picked was $10 to the movie theater so at some point, Jeff and I will have to go see a movie! On Saturday, the weather was absolutely amazing and I went on a very long (4 hours!) walk down Polk street and then Union street. I found some very fun shops on Union street that I never knew were there! Two notable ones are Z Gallerie (not original, but had no idea there was one in the city), the Union Street Papery (such great stationary and selection), and the Pad Yoga Studios (I am going to be starting yoga this week!). It was so fun and nice walking around in such wonderful weather! Then I came home and made steamed asparagus with Hollandaise sauce and my famous cookies from Easter. Everything turned out so good! It was such a busy and exciting week and I am so glad that everything I did turned out well and helped me truly enjoy the week! Have a wonderful week!

Buona settimana!
