Christmas 2011

The Longo's had a lovely Christmas this year! The Christmas season started by making capelletti which are a traditional part of Christmas in Parma. They are heavenly! I helped my mom make them this year and we made over 400!
Noi abbiamo avuto un natale molto bello! La stagione natalizia e' cominciato quando io e la mamma abbiamo fatto i capelletti, che sono tradizionali da fare a natale a Parma. Sono buonissimi! Ne abbiamo fatti piu' di 400!

Since I was home and doing anything and everything I could do to procrastinate studying for my test, I decided to arrange all of our family pictures. BIG task. But now all of our pictures are out of their 1990 envelopes and into some snazzy plastic containers. Woohoo! It's sad because I was really excited that they were all organized.
Visto che ero a casa durante il giorno e stavo facendo tutto quello che potevo per non studiare per il mio esame, ho deciso di mettere a posto tutte le foto della famiglia. C'ho messo un po', pero' adesso tutte le foto sono messe a posto e stanno molto bene! E' un po' triste perche' ero molto contenta che tutte le foto erano organizate.

The house was all lit up for the holidays and it was always warm and cozy! My parents spoiled us this year and we all made out with some awesome loot! We are truly blessed to have all that we have and I am always grateful every year that I get to spend this time with my family. Hope you all had a fabulous Christmas as well!
La casa era tutta decorata per natale ed era sempre bello essere a casa a vedere tutte le luci. I miei ci hanno, come sempre, viziati e tutti abbiamo preso tante cose molto belle! Siamo cosi fortunati ad avere tutto quello che abbiamo e sono sempre contenta a passare questo tempo con la famiglia. Spero che anche voi avete passato un natale bello!
