Noel's Bridal Shower

This past weekend, I helped host Noel's bridal shower. She is getting married in November and we had her San Diego bridal shower this past weekend.
Il weekend scorso, ho aiutato un'altra amica a fare la bridal shower per la Noel. Lei si sposera' a novembre, e abbiamo fatto la bridal shower per l'amici di San Diego questo weekend.

I had to get bread for the occasion so I made a stop on Saturday morning at Bread and Cie. I had eaten their bread before, purchased either from the Farmer's Market or a local grocery store. But, I had never been inside their actual bakery in San Diego. It. Was. Amazing. I never wanted to leave! The smells! The breads! The pastries! It was all so good! I ended up getting 2 french baguettes, 1 loaf of jalapeno cheddar, and 1 loaf of rosemary olive oil (my favorite). Everything had been devoured by the end of the night.
Io ero responsabile per prendere il pane e sono andata in una panetteria di San Diego che si chiama Bread and Cie. Io avevo gia' provato i loro pani, perche' si comprano nei supermercati di San Diego e anche nei mercati. Pero', non ero mai stata nella vera panetteria. Non volevo piu' uscire! C'era un profumo di pane cosi buono! Io ho preso due baguette, una micca di pane con il formaggio e jalapeno, ed un'altra micca con il rosmarino. Non c'era piu' niene alla fine della sera, allora imagino che il pane e' piaciuto a tutti!

Noel's friend Christina was gracious enough to host the bridal shower. I had my friend Angela make the gorgeous signs that we had up (check out her Etsy store here). We then decorated with balloons sticking with a white, cream, and gold theme.
Una amica della Noel, Christina, ha detto che potevamo fare la festa a casa sua (lei ha una casa molto bella!). Una delle mie amiche ha fatto i cartelli che abbiamo messo in giro. Poi, i colori che abbiamo usato erano bianco, crema, e dorato.

To eat, we stuck with some simple Italian classics: caprese, salumi misti, cheese, and insalata di riso. It was a hit!
Per mangiare, abbiamo preparato un paio di cose classiche Italiane: caprese, salumi misti, formaggi, e insalata di riso. Non c'e' rimasto niente!
