Il weekend del matrimonio della Noel e' cominciato con cena in un ristorante. Io mi sono presa un paio di giorni di ferie perche' volevo celebrare bene, ma anche' perche' e' venuta mia mamma!
Friday we had the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner. The wedding was held at the Villa del Sol d'Oro in Sierra Madre, CA. Noel actually went to high school there. The venue was truly gorgeous and we had a blast rehearsing for the big day!
Venerdi' c'era il rehearsal dove dobbiamo fare tutto come se fosso il vero matrimonio. La cerimonia e cena erano in questa villa che fa parte di una scuola. La Noel e' andate qui per la high school. Il posto era proprio bello e dopo la prova, siamo andati a mangiare!

The rehearsal dinner was held at Noel's aunt's house. They had set up their backyard for this and it was beautiful. The best part was that Buona Forchetta came down from San Diego to cater dinner. YUM!
La cena dopo la prova era a casa della zia della Noel. Avevano fatto un bellissimo lavoro a mettere tutto apposto per la cena. La cosa piu' bella era che Buona Forchetta e' venuta giu' per fare da mangiare. Che buona la loro pizza!

Wedding day! The rehearsal was on Friday and the wedding was on Sunday, so on Saturday, I went to Eataly (click here to see the post). The best part of Saturday was that my mom flew in! Yay! We had so much fun at the wedding and on Monday.
Il giorno del matrimonio! La prova era venerdi' el matrimonio era di domenica. Sabato sono andata a Eataly prima che arrivasse la mamma. Ci siamo divertite tanto!

When it came time to throw the bouquet, Noel actually had 2 "toss" bouquets. I was forced to go stand in the group and did not catch the first one. The second bouquet, as Noel was getting ready to toss it, she turned and handed it straight to me. I laughed/cried. It was so sweet ::sniff::.
Quando era tempo di tirare il mazzo di fiori, la Noel ne aveva due. Il primo, la tirato normale e la preso la sorella dello sposo. Pero', per il secondo mazzo, quando si e' messa per tirarlo, si e' girata e l'ha dato direttamente a me.
