September 2021 - Portland!

After Disneyland, Andy and I headed up to Portland, Oregon for a long weekend. I have been to Portland a few times, but Andy had never been. We really lucked out with the weather and saw some awesome things. 

Dopo Disneyland, io e Andy siamo andati a Portland, Oregon per il weekend. Io ci sono gia stata un paio di volte, pero' Andy non c'era mai stato. Siamo stati fortunati perche' il tempo era perfetto! 

We landed in the morning so headed out to the Japanese Garden. It was so beautiful!

Siamo arrivati al mattino e siamo andati a vedere un giardino. Era bellissimo! 

That night, we met up with one of my friends, Jesse, for dinner. 

Quella sera, ci siamo trovati con il mio amico Jesse, per cena.

Friday, we were heading up to Vancouver, Washington to spend the weekend with my friend Cady and her family. We headed up the scenic route and it was truly scenic!

Venerdi', siamo andati su a Vancouver, Washington per passare il weekend con la mia amica Cady e la sua familia. Abbiamo fatto un giro scenico.

Multnomah Falls

Loving cheese so much, a stop at the Tillamook Creamery was needed. Inside, you get to see how they process and package all their cheeses. The best part is they have lots of yummy items with cheese and milk. We tried their grilled cheese, mac and cheese, and ice cream. Everything was so good! 

Visto che mi piace il formaggio, siamo andati a vedere dove c'e' la fabbrica di Tillamook. Dentro, vedi come fanno il loro formaggio. Hanno anche da mangiare tutto con il formaggio o latte. Abbiamo assaggiato un po' di panini e gelato.

After Tillamook, Andy and I headed up the coast towards Cannon Beach and Astoria. We stopped along the way for some pictures at the coast. 

Dopo Tillamook, io e Andy siamo andati a nord verso Cannon Beach e Astoria. Ci siamo fermati per un paio di foto lungo la strada.

After Cannon Beach, we headed to the Astoria Column. To get to the top, you walk up about 120 winding metal stairs. The weather cleared up and we had gorgeous views.

Dopo Cannon Beach, siamo andati a l'Astoria Column. Per andare in alto, ci sono circa 120 gradini di metallo. Fortunatamente, e' venuto fuori il sole e c'era una vista stupenda. 

On our final day in Portland, we went to the Vancouver Farmer's Market with Cady and her darling children. We ended up having some extra time because our flight was delayed, so we hung out in the city before heading home. 

L'ultimo giorno a Portland, siamo andati al mercato che c'e' a Vancouver con la mia amica Cady e I suoi bambini. Avevamo un po' di tempo in piu' perche' il nostro volo era in ritardo. Allora abbiamo girato ancora la citta' prima di partire.
