December 2021 - Christmas!

Andy, Gus, and I spent Christmas in Salt Lake City. We drove and stopped in Las Vegas for one night on the way up. 

Io, Andy, e Gus siamo andati a Salt Lake City per Natale. Siamo andati in macchina e ci siamo fermati a Las Vegas per una sera.

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan in a room that faced the strip. It was so beautiful and we had a lovely balcony with chairs where we could sit and watch people walking by. 

Siamo stati al Cosmopolitan e avevamo una camera con vista su la strip. C'era anche un balconcino dove potevamo guardare la gente che camminava.

We walked to the Bellagio to see their Conservatory. They always have polar bears - my favorites!

Siamo andati al Bellagio per vedere i fiori. Hanno sempre gli orsi polari - I miei preferiti!

We had dinner at Momofuku and it was SO good!

After Vegas, we continued on to Salt Lake City. We went tubing at Woodward Park City and it did not disappoint! 

Dopo Vegas, abbiamo continuato per Salt Lake City. Siamo andati a slittare a Woodward Park City e ci siamo divertiti tantissimo!

Then, it was time for all of the Christmas things. We made cappelletti.

Poi, era ora per tutte le cose di natale. Abbiamo fatti I cappelletti.

Gus and Goofy

This was Gus' first time in the snow. He wasn't sure about it at first, but then seemed to understand it. He does not like the cold though and towards the end of our trip, he did not enjoy being outside. 

Era la prima volta per Gus ne la neve. Non era molto convinto, pero' poi ha capito un po' meglio. Non li piace il freddo, e verso la fine, non godeva andare fuori. 

Andy and I went to see the Gingerbread House at the Grand America Hotel. They do this every year, but this was the first time I'd ever gone to see it.

Io e Andy siamo andati a vedere la casa di marzapane al Grand America Hotel. Lo fanno tutti gli anni, pero' era la prima volta che ci andavo.
