And just like that, we have a one year old! I don't know where the time went, but this past year has been nothing short of magical. Emilia is such a joy and spreads cheer everywhere she goes. We love watching her little brain figure out how things work and she is trying to walk so bad! On her actual birthday, we celebrated at home and she had her first beignet (the chocolate filled ones from Costco - SOOO good!).
Una mattina, ci siamo svegliati, ed l'Emilia aveva un'anno. Non sappiamo dove sia andato il tempo perche' sembra ieri che era nata. L'Emilia e' cosi' felice e sorride (quasi) sempre. Sta cercando di capire tutto e vuole camminare (ci siamo quasi!). Il giorno del suo compleanno, abbiamo fatto una festa a casa con un beignet.

That weekend, we invited friends and family over to celebrate her birthday. We are so lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people!
Quel sabato, abbiamo invitati dei nostri amici per celebrare il suo compleanno. Siamo molto fortunati di avere tanta gente attorno che vuole bene a l'Emilia ed a noi!
We also celebrated Easter that same weekend! It was a whirlwind, but so fun having my parents and Simone and Rachel in town!
Abbiamo anche celebrato pasqua. Era un weekend impegnativo, pero' era molto bello avere i miei genitori e Simone e la Rachel.
