April was truly a blur (especially writing this in October 🙈). Andy and I have Zoo passes so went to the Wild Animal Park one Saturday and explored. Neither of us had been in a while and it was a beautiful day to wander around. 

Non mi ricordo molto da aprile, pero' abbiamo fatto un paio di cose. Siamo andati al Wild Animal Park un sabato e abbiamo visto tanti animali. 

We also went camping at Green Valley Falls campground. Due to all of the rain from the spring, the waterfalls were gushing! It was a hot weekend, so the water was nice and refreshing!

Siamo andati in campeggio a Green Valley Falls. Fra gennaio e marzo, e' piovuto molto, e la cascata era piena! Era un weekend molto caldo, allora si stava bene in acqua.

Road Trip : Camping and SLC

Way back when, Andy took a week off of work and we went on a road trip up to Salt Lake and then over to Graeagle. We started by camping one night in Southern Utah.

Tanto tempo fa, Andy si e' preso una settimana di ferie e siamo andati in macchina a Salt Lake City e poi a Graeagle (vicino a Lake Tahoe). La prima sera, siamo andati in campeggio.

We had the most perfect camp site - super big and FAR away from anyone else. We would have stayed a second night, but the campsites that were available were not great. Our view was right on Panguitch Lake. Even though it was pretty warm during the day, it cooled down a TON at night. 

Avevamo un posto perfetto - molto grande e lontani da tutti l'altri. Ci volevamo stare un'altra sera, pero' non c'era un posto che ci piacesse. Eravamo di fianco a un lago. C'era un po' caldo durante il giorno, ma a la sera e' venuto bel fresco.

The next morning, we headed out to do some hiking. Simone had recommended Tropic Reservoir, so we headed there. On the way, we drove through the most beautiful Park. 

La prossima mattina, siamo andati a fare una camminata. Simone aveva detto che Tropic Reservoir era molto bello da vedere allora siamo andati la. Su la strada, c'era una cosa piu' bella dell'altra.

We even got to experience a flash storm. Us Southern Californians were very confused by what was happening. 

E' anche piovuto! Due gocce! Eravamo molto perplessi noi di California. 

We were able to bring Gus on almost all of our hikes. We bought him this cooling vest and it worked really well. 

Gus e' venuto su quasi tutte le nostre camminate. Gli abbiamo preso un giubotto rinfrescante ed e funzionato bene. 

After camping, we headed up to Salt Lake to spend some time with the family. We didn't do too much, but Andy and my dad were able to go fly fishing and even caught some fish! 

Dopo lo Southern Utah, siamo andati a Salt Lake per passare del tempo con I miei. Non abbiamo fatto molto, pero' Andy e il papa' sono andate a pescare. Hanno anche abboccato!

Joshua Tree

Andy and I went camping with some friends in Joshua Tree in September. Despite the very hot temperatures during the day, the evenings were lovely and we had a great time.
Io e Andy siamo andati in campeggio con dei amici a Joshua Tree a Settembre. Anche se c'era molto caldo durante il giorno, le serate erano perfette.

All the Camping!

This spring, I went camping more than once! This brings my total camping experiences to three, which I am super proud of. Our March camping trip was to the same place we went in September. Only thing was, it was maybe 45 degrees colder. The day wasn't so bad, but it was SO COLD at night.
In primavera, sono andata in campeggio altre due volte. A marzo, siamo andati dove eravamo gia' stati a settembre. L'unica cosa diversa era che c'erano 45 gradi in meno. Durante il giorno si stava anche bene, pero' a la sera, c'era freddo.

Before leaving on Saturday, we went on a walk to some falls.
Prima di partire sabato, siamo andati a fare una passeggiata per vedere delle cascate.

With all the rain Southern California received, we stopped to take a quick picture of fields of poppies below orange groves.
Con tutta la pioggia, i fiori erano ovunque. Ci siamo fermati per fare una foto veloce ai fiori sotto l'alberi i arance.

In May, we headed to a campsite near Lake Cuyamaca. The weather and location was beautiful! 

A maggio, siamo andati ancora in campeggio in un posto nuovo, vicino a un lago. Il tempo e il posto era molto bello! 

When we arrived, we hiked up to Stonewall Peak for the sunset.
Quando siamo arrivati, siamo andati su a Stonewall Peak per il tramonto.
