How appropriate that my 500th (!!) post is about Thanksgiving! Andy and I spent Thanksgiving in South Carolina with Andy's mom. It was the perfect change of scenery and very cold!
Questo e' il mio post numero 500! Per Thanksgiving, io e Andy siamo andati a South Carolina per passarlo con la mamma di Andy. Era proprio quello che ci serviva, anche se c'era molto freddo!
We arrived late at night, but decided that was perfect because the next morning we woke up to their beautiful view. We then walked around their neighborhood and did the 12 Bridges Walk.
Siamo arrivati di notte ed era perfetto perche' quando ci siamo svegliati abbiamo visto tutte le foglie che stavano cambiando colori. Abbiamo fatto una passeggiata vicino a casa loro.

The next day we went to Jones Gap State Park and did the
Rainbow Falls Trail. It was stunning. The colors were so pretty (even if we were on the tail end of things) and the waterfall at the end made it worth it.
Il giorno dopo, siamo andati a fare una camminata a Rainbow Falls Trail. I colori erano troppo belli e la cascata a la fine era meritevole.

For Thanksgiving, we had dinner at the Club that his parents belong to and walked around the golf course after.
Per Thanksgiving, abbiamo mangiato al Club che c'e' vicino a casa dei genitori di Andy e poi abbiamo fatto due passi sul campo di golf.
On our last day, we did a boat tour of
Lake Jocassee. It was quite chilly, but with blankets and gloves, we stayed warm! There were some gorgeous waterfalls all around the lake.
L'ultimo giorno, abbiamo fatto un giro in barca di Lake Jocassee. C'era molto freddo, pero' con le coperte e guanti, siamo stati caldi. C'erano molte cascate tutte attorno.
That evening, we headed to downtown Greenville to see the town. It was darling!
Quella sera, siamo andati in centro a Greenville per vedere la citta' piu' vicina. Era molto carina.
