Italian Holiday, Part 3
Alas, my Italian holiday has come to an end. Therefore, I shall blog about the wonderful things I did and the delicious things I ate, only to make me wish I were still there. This time around, I was fortunate to spend three weeks in Italy - the longest I've spent there in a while (usually I go for 2 weeks). The first week, I mostly hung out around Parma and saw lots of relatives and friends.
Purtroppo, le mie vacanze Italiane sono finite. Allora, mi mettero' a scrivere di tutte le cose belle che ho fatto e le cose buone che ho mangiato, solo per farmi venire voglia di tornarci. Quest'anno ero fortunata perche' sono stata in Italia per tre settimane in vece di solo due. La prima settimana, l'ho passata facendo i giri dei parenti e mangiando dalla nonna tutti giorni.
The Sunday of the first week that I was in Italy, my cousin Elena took me to the beach. This was a remarkable thing because she prefers the mountains to the beach so it was a big deal that we went and spent a day at the beach! We went to Levanto, where I had never been before. It was lovely!
La domenica della prima settimana, la mia cugina Elena mi ha portato al mare. Questa era una grande cosa perche' lei e' amante della montagna, allora era notevole che c'e' voluta andare! Siamo andate a Levanto dove io non c'ero mai stata. Era molto bello! Abbiamo anche mangiato la foccaccia, pero' non ho fatto la foto!!!
