December 2025

December! Emilia met Nana and Poppa (Andy's mom and step-dad). Went to Zoo lights with Andy's brother and his family. We celebrated her first Christmas and our first Christmas in our new house with my parents. Had friends over for NYE and were in bed by 10:30p! The perfect end to a wonderful year. 

Dicembre! Emilia ha conosciuto i nonni da la parte di Andy. Siamo andati a vedere le luci a lo zoo con il fratello di Andy. Abbiamo festeggiato natale (il primo per l'Emilia!) ne la nostra casa nuova con i miei genitori. Per capodanno, sono venuti dei nostri amici e eravamo a letto per le 22:30! Un anno proprio perfetto!

Emilia now has two bottom teeth and one top tooth. A second top tooth is trying to pop through! She is FAST at crawling and just started pulling herself up to stand. She loves going to swim lessons, being around other people/kids, and being outside. 

L'Emilia adesso ha due denti sotto, uno in alto, e un'altro che sta cercando di uscire. Gattona VELOCE e si tira su in piedi da sola. Le piace andare a lezione di nuoto, stare attorno a la gente, e essere fuori.

December 2024

We drove to Salt Lake for Christmas and did our usual stop in Vegas. 

Siamo andati a Salt Lake per Natale e ci siamo fermati a Las Vegas.

Snow flurries Christmas morning! 

Andy, Gus, and I headed up to Park City for the night. It was beautiful weather, until we had to head back down to SLC in the middle of a snowstorm. 

Io, Andy, e Gus siamo andati su a Park City per una sera. C'era un tempo perfetto, fino che non stavamo tornando a Salt Lake in tanto che nevicava.

We went to a Utah Jazz game! They lost, but we had a good time!

On our stop in Vegas on the way home, we went and saw One, the Michael Jackson show. It was really good!

November 2024

To kick off November, we brought my parents the bed that was in our guest room. While in LA, I requested to go to Something About Her sandwich shop....it was delicious and worth it!

Per cominciare novembre, abbiamo portato il letto che avevamo ne la cameretta a i miei. In tanto che eravamo a LA, io ho voluto andare a provare questo posto che fa panini. Lo conosco da una serie in TV. Era un panino molto buono!

We were looking for ways to get rid of the guest bed because......baby girl Beck is coming in April! 

Stavamo cercando come far fuori il letto perche'......la piccola arrivera' ad aprile! 

We also went to the Babylist store which was amazing and had to sit on the adult Baby Bjorns.

Siamo andati in un negozio per bambini che era molto bello e abbiamo provato queste sedie.

My friend Matt came to San Diego for a work trip and we went to Coronado to watch the sunset. We hadn't done that in ages and it was as beautiful as ever.

Mio amico Matt era a San Diego per lavoro e siamo andati al Coronado a vedere il tramonto. Era tanto tempo che non lo facevamo ed era stupendo.

December 2023 - Christmas

For Christmas, we headed to Salt Lake City. We stopped for a night in Las Vegas, always staying at our favorite Virgin Hotel. This time around, we meandered to the strip to visit the gardens at Bellagio.

Per Natale, siamo andati a Salt Lake City. Ci siamo fermati una sera a Las Vegas, nel nostro albergo preerito. Questa volta, siamo anche andati a vedere il giardino che c'e' al Bellagio.

Then we headed to Salt Lake where the next morning we woke up to snow! It lasted maybe three hours, but it was still fun to see. 

Poi siamo andati a Salt Lake dove la mattina dopo, c'era neve! Non e' durata tanto, pero' era bella. 

As a gift from Simone, we went to Top Golf. It was so much fun to be there with the family while watching the clouds blow in over the mountains. 

Come regalo da Simone, siamo andati a Top Golf. Ci siamo divertiti molto giocando in tanto che guardavi le nuvole che eranno in arrivo.

Andy and I headed up to the condo in Park City for a night. Gus was living his best life with his bed right by the fireplace. 

Io e Andy siamo andati su a Park City per una sera. Gus ha goduto anche lui la casa, con il suo letto di fianco al camino.

We went with my mom and brother to check out the Gingerbread House at the Grand America Hotel. This year, the Gingerbread house was the Utah State Capitol building.

Siamo andati con Simone e mia mamma a vedere la casa di Gingerbread al Grand America. Quest'anno l'anno fatta come lo Utah State Capitol building.

We headed back to San Diego a day earlier than we anticipated because Andy's new car - Tesla Model X was ready to be picked up!
